PENQUITE FARM HOLIDAYS TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide on the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by email or post.

Provisional bookings are confirmed with a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total amount.

In the event of a cancellation less than 8 weeks before the holiday begins, the whole rent is payable, unless we succeed in re-letting. You must notify us immediately and we will do our best to re-let the accommodation. With more than 8 weeks notice, the deposit would be forfeited but the final balance, if already paid, would be refunded. We strongly recommend that you take out Cancellation Insurance.

The proprietor reserves the right to refuse any booking or to cancel any booking already made subject to refunding any sums you have paid without further liability on your part.

The proprietor shall not be liable to you or any other member of your party for any loss or damage to persons or property however caused.

The accommodation is designed and equipped for family holidays and is not for youth groups or student parties. The number of people occupying the property must not exceed the stated number of beds.

The person who completes the booking form certifies that: a) he or she is authorised to agree the booking conditions on behalf of all persons included on the booking form, including those substituted or added at a later date; b) the signatory is over eighteen years of age and a member of the party intending to occupy the property; and c) agrees to take responsibility for the party occupying the property.

The property must be left clean and tidy and occupants are responsible for this. Any damage or breakages must be reported to the proprietor and we reserve the right to charge for any damage.

Bookings made within 8 weeks of the holiday require full payment returned with completed booking form.

The proprietor reserves the right to cancel any booking if it subsequently transpires that the above mentioned conditions have not been observed.

Provisional bookings are only held for 3 days. If the deposit is not made the booking will be cancelled after this time, with no prior notice.

Balances are due 8 weeks prior to arrival date.

Reservations are from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

We operate a non-smoking policy inside all our properties.

Regretfully we cannot accept pets.

In the unlikely event of your property being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. fire damage, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.

The use of accommodation and amenities including the pets paddocks, trampoline, play area and grounds, games room, swimming pool and hot tub is entirely at the Hirer's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the Hirer or the Hirer's companions or guests. When visiting the animals children must be supervised at all times. Please ensure that hands are washed thoroughly after the visit.

All children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an Adult when using the Swimming Pool or Hot Tub.

The pool is NOT staffed so you are responsible for your own safety while using it. Please see the full Swimming Pool Rules on my web site.
