Easter Breaks at Penquite Farm, Fowey, Looe South Cornwall
Spring and Winter Breaks, Relax and Get Away From It All
Easter is always a very busy time of the year on the farm with young animals being born.
Our few sheep are lambing at this time. We often have to hand feed young orphan lamb with the bottle. Again, children just love the hands on experience of doing this and the lambs are so soft and cute.
Our pigs, Daphne and Velma, farrow down around Easter time so there are usually young piglets running around the field and they are absolutely gorgeous to see.
There is also plenty to do in the area as Cornwall starts its season with visitors, fresh new growth appears with the start of the Easter season.
The Cornish gardens, of which there are many, are starting to come to life and are an absolute delight to see at this time of the year with the beautiful Spring flowers.
It's always our favourite time of year !!!
